Supplier RFQs

Quotes in, prices out, without the copy-paste

Winning a bid usually means pricing it first. IFXBid handles the supplier round-trip — sending the request, threading the replies, and reading the numbers out of them.

The Round Trip

From requirement to priced quote

The part of bidding that eats an afternoon and produces a spreadsheet nobody trusts.

Send From the Bid

Request quotes from your suppliers without leaving the opportunity. The bid's requirements travel with the request, so nobody has to re-describe what's needed.

Replies Thread Themselves

Responses land back against the bid that prompted them — matched on reply headers first, and on the sender's address when a mail client strips them. A cold reply still opens its own thread rather than vanishing.

Prices Read Automatically

Suppliers answer in prose, in a table, or as a line-item list. The quoted items, minimum order quantities, and prices are extracted from whichever form they used.

Price History Accumulates

Every extracted quote joins that supplier's record. Over time you can see who is consistently competitive on which items, before you ask.

Extraction

It reads the reply the way a person would

Supplier quotes don’t arrive in a standard format. One sends a neat table, the next writes a paragraph, the third attaches a list with the prices buried three lines down. Pattern matching falls over on all of it.

So this is treated as a judgment task rather than a parsing one — and it is deliberately conservative. When a price is ambiguous, nothing is recorded. A missed quote costs one manual entry; an invented one quietly poisons the price history you’re going to rely on.

Extracted values are always shown as suggestions against the original message, so someone can check the number before it counts.

Supplier Records

Your supplier list, with receipts

Each supplier carries their contacts, their conversation history, and every price they’ve quoted you — attached to the bid it was quoted for.

Threaded conversations

The whole exchange for a bid sits in one place, not scattered across three inboxes.

Contacts that stay put

When the person who always answers leaves, their replacement inherits the history.

Quoted price history

See what a supplier charged last time before you ask what they'll charge this time.

Price Your Next Bid Faster

Send the quote requests from inside the opportunity and let the replies file themselves.
